Singapore Bak Kuet Teh Recipe
Preparation
- 1 sachet of spices
- 1 kg pork ribs (Boil for 5 mins and rinse the boiled pork ribs to remove scum)
- 8 pieces garlic (Skin intact)
- 6 bowls water (1500ml /50oz)
Method
- Boil 1500ml water.
- Place sachet and pre-prepared pork ribs in boiling water.
- Simmer for 30 mins on low heat.
- Add garlic and continue to simmer for another 15 mins. Serve hot.
- Note: Requires no additional seasoning.

Vegetarian variation
- Add in mushroom or mock meat.
- Simmer for 30 mins on low heat. Serve hot.
