Singapore Bak Kuet Teh Recipe

Preparation

  1. 1 sachet of spices
  2. 1 kg pork ribs (Boil for 5 mins and rinse the boiled pork ribs to remove scum)
  3. 8 pieces garlic (Skin intact)
  4. 6 bowls water (1500ml /50oz)

Method

  1. Boil 1500ml water.
  2. Place sachet and pre-prepared pork ribs in boiling water.
  3. Simmer for 30 mins on low heat.
  4. Add garlic and continue to simmer for another 15 mins. Serve hot.
  5. Note: Requires no additional seasoning.

Cooking Suggestion

Vegetarian variation

  1. Add in mushroom or mock meat.
  2. Simmer for 30 mins on low heat. Serve hot.
